It's Tuesday!

Okay, so there's not really any reason to be excited that it's Tuesday (besides my son's baseball game tonight), but I have no idea what to title most of my post, lol.Starting off by showing the rest of the polishes I got from copious.com & one I got from vitacost.com (the Barielle, just paid shipping).  I think I paid around $4 for the ones from copious.com after using the rest of my credits.
OPI Divine Swine; Barielle Shannon's Attitude; Pure Ice Rave, Platinum Magic Base Coat (all 3 whites), DJ Spinner, Vintage Remix
Here's a pic of the last mani I posted about with a turtle stamp (from the  in Zoya Shawn on the thumb (I'm getting better at stamping!)
How cute is that?!?
Now on to the mani that my boyfriend picked out (I gave him a few choices) & that I still have on:
Julep Drew
I started with Julep base coat & added 1 coat of Julep Drew.  The brush is a bit wonky, but I worked with it & the polish covered amazingly.  The pictures (full sun) make the color look lighter than it actually is--it's a darker, dusty rose color.  I wouldn't normally wear this, but I have to say I love this color, but wait until you see the final result...
Julep Drew with Lush Lacquer Salt n Peppa
I added 1 coat of Lush Lacquer Salt n Peppa over Drew & fell in love, lol.  I did top this off with 2 coats of Out The Door & after 4 days I barely have tip wear.
Yesterday I got my MASH nail plates (set #2, plates 26-50) in the mail!  I can't wait to use these, I've got some cute ideas in my head, just hope I can get them to look good on my nails!

Today I got my Target beauty bag in the mail.  I didn't get as much stuff in mine as some of the bags I've seen, but it's free so I'm happy.  I use the bags to store some of my smaller nail stuff (like my stamping plates).

I really wish this would have shown up on Saturday before we left--I forgot to pack my sunscreen & on Sunday when we went to the White Sox/Brewers game in Chicago with my bf's family & all they sell there is 30 spf & that didn't help this redhead at all--I'm burnt as hell, lol.  Oh well, the White Sox won in the 10th so at least it was worth it!

Let's see what happened last week...

I read online that blogger had a virus so I didn't try to post last week at all.  I'm just hoping that it's taken care of.
Anyway, let's get on to the nail polish I got last week!
Zoya minis Kimber, Myrta, Zuza; Nicole by OPI Fresh Squeezed; Sinful Colors Why Not, Blue By You, Amethyst
I got a set of the Zoya minis (even though I have all 3 colors in the full size) just because I think the bottles are cute & I don't have many minis.  The NOPI I got off ebay & it's a color I've wanted for awhile, but didn't want to pay full price for & the Sinful Colors I got at Walgreens & they were buy 2 get 1 free.
Orly Be Brave, Sashay My Way, Mermaid Tale, Spazmatic; Out The Door top coat
I picked these up at Sally's & with my member card & the $10 off $20 coupon everything came to less than $20.  I did have the purple glitter in my hand, but put it back because I wasn't sure if it was one of the new glitters, SMH.  Does someone want to send me the purple one?
Color Club Fame & Fortune, Beyond The Mistletoe, Covered In Diamonds; Kleancolor Pinky Moon, Silver Star; OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It; mini The New Black; mini Seche Vite
So I've had my brother & my dad both join copious.com so I can get polish, lol.  Last Monday they had a $10 in credit for people who had an account so the above is what I ordered (I ended up paying about $2.50 for everything.  The mini The New Black (do these have names?  It says Gold Grenade on the label, but IDK if that's the name of the polish) was free with one of the Color Clubs.  I'm really loving Copious, lol.
& now for the REALLY good stuff:
All That Glitters Spotty Dottie Light, Spotty Dottie Dark; Lush Lacquer Lite Brite, Dippin Dots, Pink Panther, Salt n Peppa; Rainbow Honey Pinkie Promise, 20% Cooler (in boxes)

All That Glitters Spotty Dottie Light, Spotty Dottie Dark; Lush Lacquer Lite Brite, Dippin Dots, Pink Panther, Salt n Peppa; Rainbow Honey Pinkie Promise, 20% Cooler
I really do love indie polishes & I was lucky enough to have my orders all show up back-to-back-to-back, lol.  I NEED to wear these soon so I can post pics!
Speaking of actually WEARING polish, here's a couple manis I did this weekend:
Orly Nite Owl
I love this polish.  The color might be a little more tame than I like to wear (it is lovely though), but the formula was great (2 easy coats).  I didn't wear this long because my hand hit something & dented the polish *grrr*.
I *needed* a mani since we were going out for lunch w/ my in-laws for Father's Day so I put this on while we were driving there (haven't done that in awhile, my in-car polishing skills aren't what they used to be, lol):
Color Club Worth The Risque
This is 2 coats of Worth The Risque.  I've worn this before (pre-blog) & I love it.  It goes on easily & covers well in 2 coats.  It might not be the most holo polish ever, but for the price it's AMAZING.  Even though I love the polish just by itself I wanted to bling it up a little more:
Color Club Worth The Risque, NYX Girls Spot Light, INM Northern Lights
I added Spot Light & Northern Lights once I got to my in-laws (I did think I grabbed Out The Door & not Northern Lights, but it really doesn't matter).  I love how this looks & I'll probably keep it on for a few days.
What have you gotten lately?

It's been too long...

Hi all!  It feels like I haven't written on here in forever even though I know it's only been a little over a week.  We were gone for 4 days when we went to my boyfriend's Aunt's funeral & afterward I just didn't really feel like painting my nails or writing (I wore China Glaze Pelican Gray for the wake & funeral & added Dandy Nails Colorblind² over it afterward--LOVE both polishes, but didn't seem right to take pictures).
I finally changed my mani yesterday & decided to go with something bright & happy, but not neon so I grabbed Orly Snowcone.  OMG--this polish is perfect!  I only had to use 1 coat!  I used 1 coat of Julep basecoat under it.  The color is a cornflower blue & it's a color my Grandma would have loved.
Orly Snowcone
& here's a picture of the polish I've gotten since my last post:
Wet n Wild Wet Cement, Essie Mojito Madness, Julep Drew, Sienna, Emilie, Fast Dry Topcoat, lip balm, nail file
The Wet n Wild I got off of copious.com for $0.01 after using credit, the Essie I just bought at Walmart (held off buying 3 others of the collection since I hate paying full price, but I HAD to have this one--I LOVE the color), & the Juleps are from the June mystery box.  I love that Julep ships so fast, but I always get the smallest mystery box so I'm not sure if I'll get another.  The colors are alright & I guess I'm glad to have another fast dry topcoat, but I could do without the lip balm or nail file.
Anyway, I HAD to use Mojito Madness so I just quickly added a tip to my Snowcone mani:
I love this combo & will probably add on the rest of the tips when I'm done writing this.
Hope all of you have a lovely weekned--it's in the high 80s in Wisconsin so I'm glad we're just sitting home & not really doing anything, lol.
